dont tell me that you believe that the govt doesnt experiment on crazy shit.....making all kinds of stuff you dont want to know about...if you dont believe it then you are Naieve....

We advanced in 50 years furlther than we have in 500..........wonder how? you dont think that we stole technology from our invisible friends? all of the sudden we know how to make lazers, megaton bombs, supersonic aircraft, satalites that can see the dirt on your floor in your house if they want.
we have stolen so much crap from somewhere that it's retarded......engineers arent that damn smart.....to go "oh hey i just discovered how to make a thin beam of light cut through 4 ft of steel.....man i'm smart"

If you believe everything that people say they did, especially in Nam, then you're naive. That's not to say that there wasn't an Apache or Apache-variant chopper in Nam.....

But in how we have advanced so much in 50 years?

You are only talking of technology. In many ways we've regressed as a society and as humanity. But that's a different story.

See, it takes technology to make more technology. Not to mention we keep increasing the number of people working on things. Take the Cold War for example. It was the driving force behind government investing in research. The government invested very heavily which meant more people were working on developing more new technologies.....with each new technology we're able to push the limits that much further.

Many things allow you to develop, discover, and innovate exponentially. You always start off slow and pick up speed, it's hard to do much when you don't have much.

Think of it in other terms....money and interest. It takes money to make money. If 2 people invest money, each in a 5% APR account.....one starts with $10,000 and another with $100,000, in 1 year the guy with $100,000 initial investment will have made a lot more than the guy with 10k (5k vs. $500). It's simple, the more you have, the faster you can make even more.

Engineers can be that smart (not all of them are, trust me!). Researchers spend countless hours trying and failing only to eventually have one success story.....that's the nature of research. That's how big and little steps occur. Many little steps lead to big steps. Sometimes mistakes, mishaps, coincidence, luck, etc. play a big part as well. And sometimes even stealing....

If you really think that engineers and researchers couldn't have created many of the things we have, like lasers and powerful optics, then you have absolutely no comprehension of how much work goes into the research and development of these technologies, and chances are you take lots of "simple" things for granted.

And what the hell is la chupacabra?????
