you don't need a camber kit unless you change the ride height... I would suggest an alignment after you get new tires, just so they don't wear unevenly (not that I think they would, but better to be safe). Yes it is going to be rougher, because the sidewall is shorter and thus doesn't flex (absorb bumps) as much, but will also handle better. It depends on the weight of the stock rim+tire combo vs. the new one... also, its much harder to move weight on the outside of the rim (towards tire) than on the inside (towards centercap)...
