Tunred the a/c on the other day and nothing. Switched fan up and nothing until I had it on high (4), then some air flow and a very noisy fan motor. Not getting too hot and no burning smell, but definitely not working correctly. Nothing on speeds 1 2 or 3. Seems odd for the switch and fan to go at the same time. Any thoughts? Is it dead or possibly repairable?

Addition: Just noticed that when air went through the system this morning, the interior had a very musty, almost swampy smell to it for awhile. I am wondering if something somehow got in the system and has clogged it. We had a tremendous amount of rain the last month. I can't see where anything large could have entered, but now I am thinking the problem is a blockage somewhere.
