are you doing a s15 conversion kit or an actual s15 front? If you are doing the actual front then just get the s15 front clip plus the rear section which is included with it, generally runs upwards of 5 grand just for the clip. but you get the crappy six speed tranny that will bust around 300hp.
94-98? i thought that 94 was the s13 convertible.
the rb25det is really not worth it compared to the sr20. now if you were going rb26, different story. the rb25 is nissan's luxury car turbo motor, yeah it's found in the non gtr skylines, but also in their sedans in japan. it's also a heavier motor at that plus has less of an aftermarket support. meaning all of your parts would have to come straight from japan since there are no parts made in the u.s. for the motor, unlike the sr20. you could go red top sr20 front clip for under 3 grand and get it put in around 1000-1500(I believe signal charges 1500). you could do an s14 det for mid 3 grand.
do the suspension and brakes and stuff first. continue to think about your motor and your plans, that way when you swap you don't need to worry about the car handling the power. you're gonna need to upgrade your breaks to at least 300zx calipers, you could go skyline as well. i'd look at tokico/ground control for a budget suspension, or a tein setup but be ready for a rough ride on those great freeways, like the 91 around gardena. you could go full nismo but that will cost a pretty penny, stay away from zeal, they are a little over priced at the moment due to their low sales volume.
what shop are you gonna go to? there are only a few shops around that can do the setup and wiring perfectly, everyone else doesn't understand the wiring and ecu setup to allow all of the functions.
i have a good relationship with this guy

but don't go to him until you get the car, i have been in his s14, pure power....grrr.
just let me know, I know plenty of people.
