Is 3k recommended for the 5th gens?
For 6th gens, 5W20 and every 7500 miles or 6 months is the recommended oil change interval with a filter change every 15k or once/year, whichever happens first. That is for the "normal" schedule. The severe schedule calls for 3k and 3 months.
Even if you have the right weight, some high mileage cars will prefer natural oil over synthetic.
