I know your pain. This spring just before doing my turbo setup, I grenaded my tranny at our local track. Thought I snapped an axle at first, until I looked under the car and saw gear oil pouring all over the starting line.
After an expensive 40 mile flatbed ride, the tranny was pulled and we determined that I had shattered the spider gears in the diff and they blew themselves out the tranny casing!!! $800 CDN dollars later
, I was back in business.
Boy, was the Super-Pro finalist pissed at me. He was favored to win and picked my lane just before I blew up!
Ended up smoking the tires all the way down the track!!
Stupid V-8 curse!!
