Is it very hard? Not at all, if you can ride a bicycle (balance two wheels), have good coordination, and can drive a stick it should be very easy.I didn't know how to drive a stick when I got my license last year, but it was pretty simple.I took a 3 day course with the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation).First day its all in class stuff and the two other days are just out riding.I learned so much there. The price varies for the course though...some states its like $45 and I paid $195 here. Its worth every penny though. You'll need full coverage if you have a loan.Full coverage covers theft, bodily injury, collision, etc.If you only have liability...then just make sure you don't crash the bike.

Most people get collision and theft... prices vary greatly...but they also vary on the type of bike.. the smaller cc the cheaper insuarance.Invest in buying good gear and if you don't have the money now...save up, and take the MSF course for sure. You can get your license/endorsement after you pass the MSF, take a piece of paper to the DMV, driving test waived, license granted, but you pay a fee...your state may be different but here in FL thats how it works.
