yeah i've heard of it. it makes the ecu think it receives colder air so it advances the timing. why not just advance your ignition timing ? I have about 6 degrees of advance on my car and the engine doesn't knock even when it's 10 degrees outside, no power gains and it burns gas like a mother focker. 19mpg as of now
