The new SI is a 2.0 liter that (unofficially) produces 160 hp and 130 ft.lbs of torque. Which is about the same ratings as the old motor but with more displacement... Not the normal honda we have come to know and love..

Yes, but since its yet to be released (and I personally hope it never gets released), we can't use it as a comparison. Much like everyone keeps saying the Honda V8 will kill any other V8. Its not even in production(I'm talking street cars, not F1).
So my original point was to compare to similar vehicles for what they were. The SVT Focus is released and the 2000 Si is its competition (don't even try to tell me the 2k1 & 2k2 EX's are the competition). I know the the new (uck) Si will have WEAK 2.0L engine. Its sad that Honda would do such a thing. But that's another topic.
