I've tried Popup Stopper and didn't care for it. Bayden PopupPopper is much better IMHO.

I've tried scores of these programs. None of them are perfect. That's how I found out about PopupPopper. It wasn't the 1st one I tried or even the 21st. It's just the best I've run across so far. If something better comes along, I'll use that.

Actually, I've been working on a friend's computer for the last week. I used his machine for an experiment, since the installation is relatively fresh and easy to reconfigure if something goes wrong. I can't tell you how many piss-poor popup killers I ran across - all claiming to be the best. None of them holds a candle to Bayden PopupPopper.

Here are a few test pages I use. See how YOUR popup killer works on them:

This is a TOUGH page. PopupPopper won't stop the animations (which are NOT popups and I want to see anyway) and the Ad-ware Popup SIMULATION (which I don't have a problem with)...

Stops 100% on this page...

100% on this one too:

Bayden PopupPopper stopped EVERYTHING on all these pages (except the Ad-ware simulation on the first page) and the embedded Geocities ad. Like I said, NOTHING is perfect, however, it's small, fast and free...

How does your popup killer work on these pages???
