o wow this reminds me one time when i got home with my mom and there was a message from my town's police department. some officer asking if my mom could call him back as soon as possible. and what does my mom immediately do after listening to the message. she looks at me all pissed and says, "what did you do?!!?!" but the guy was just calling to see if we wanted to donate money. i got scared though because i wasn't sure if i did anything wrong or not.
but back to your thing. around my area if you do something wrong, the police department sends you a citation in the mail. then you have to bring that citation back to that department. and they tell you what you did. i had it happen to me one time
