Wires..
 

OK last week i ordered some NGK wires and plugs...i was thinking i was getting at least 8mm...but i go in today to get them and all he had was the plugs....he said all he could get was the 7mm NGK;s....and since i think my stock wires are 6.5mm....i was like what umm no thanks...so he ordered me some Taylor 8mm...are these any good?

never heard of taylor. i have some blue ngk wires 6.5 mm and i'm happy with them.

I had NGK on my car than switched to the MSD and I noticed a lil more gain with MSD

Well Ive nver noticed a gain with bigger spark plug wires. I guess if you ahve more spark going through bigger wires would help. Im thinking bigger wires on a stock ignition system wont do much. But say if you had blaster coil and high performance ignition I would think the bigger wires would be of much use.

I'm thinking of getting a new ignition system, wires and plugs. The shop that works on my car suggessted a crane ignition, has anyone ever heard of crane? What kind of gains come from new ignition, wires and plugs?

How could you notice a gain with any wires w/o ignition, etc.?

the thing is though i was trying go nololgy but i dont think they make it for my year neither does MSD un less they JUST started making em like this summer or fall or whatever...last time i checked nothing....im getting the MSD 6A amp box...wires..plugs..and whatever else i need..whoever makes em for my year i take :paranoid:
