Speed limit?
 

I have a 99 accord 4cyl vtec, Is there a limit on the engine where it will cut the gas? and if there is how do i get it turned off?

Hmmm I am not sure. The fastest I ever went with my Accord was 130 Mph. That was before I installed the strut bars. My car was a little shaky at that speed.

Maybe soon I will try to see how much it can really pull. ;)

cut off is around 130 something. and a new ECU should remove the limiter

and your car felt shaky because your car was creating lift (exactly like an airplane wing does) traveling that fast without proper aerodynamics is very dangerous, but oh well it's you, not me have fun

Fastest I've gone was 115...then had to slow down because I didn't feel like going to jail....

Hahah well all I wanted was to see is how fast I can GO. It's not like I drive like that every day ( hmmm do I ? muahahaha )

Besides it was at 2 in the morning on an empty and straight Highway without any potholes hehe. No traffic on the road at all. It was fun. ;)

the fastest i ever gone was like 117 or something...never hit 120....yeah a new ECU woudl help...but cost a lot....btw it was like 3am anywayz =P

130 is the limit due to the ECU
