Turbo Timers..

I'm seeing trubo timers between $35 - $200? What one should I get, or are they all the same? I'm just looking for a normal timer that won't crap out on me.

if Honda's payin for it...go for the more reputable one...I'm not sure what cost is best...

The thing is they are going to pay for just the Greddy kit and to put it in. Anything that doesn't come with the kit I have to pay for. I just didnt know if there is a difference between the $35 turbo timers and the $125 ones Greddy and HKS has to offer. I mean, they all do the same thing, right?

There's just something about my car running without me that just kinda scares me a little bit. Rather than a turbo timer, you could just sit in your cat and let it idle for a minute or two, or just not drive aggressively the last mile until you get wherever you're going.

But to answer your question, a timer is a timer.

the more expensive timers have features that allow you more control over what it does.

The low priced ones require you to dial in how long you want it on for, but the more expensive ones read your engine and turbo temperature and come up with the idle time themselves.

Thanks cashizslick! ;-)
