Polk/Momo

Got a question...does anyone out there have Polk/Momo subs/components in their ride? If so, what do you think??? I've been looking at them lately and am considering buying 2 10's and the 6 1/2 components...

Also, what about the Alpine Type R series? Any comments on these??

The Polk/Momo sound very "empty" to me- no depth of sound, no imaging. The Type R are pretty average. You can get much better gear for your coin if you look and listen.

They sound ok.. very similar to the R.. but the R uses slighlty better technology..

LIke Josh said.. you can get better for the dough.

Thanks for your comments 2ndTeg and Accord Man....do you guys have any suggestions on what to run?

btw, what you think about Kicker or Orion? I had 1 Xtreme 10 and and an Extreme Amp in my truck (used to have a Nissan) and it sounded pretty damn good.....couldn't keep a rearview mirror on my wind shield ;)

I'm running Kicker, and so I Josh (unless he changed)..

One sub thats very cost effective is the Comp VR..

IMO Kicker and Orion are very similar quality wise.. Many dislike Orion because they're still stickin with there HCCA concept... But hey, it delivers.
