Springs/Coilovers

Wsup guys, I am new to this forum. I just bought a 2002 Accord Coupe EX V6. I was wondering what kind of springs or coilovers I should buy for the best ride. Also, if I get springs, I would only want a 2 inch drop, so would i need to also buy cambers?

yup you will need a camber kit for a 2" drop. everything over 1.5" needs a camber kit, or you are gonna burn rubber like crazy. i would go for springs. i can reccomend the eibach springs or the newspeed.

Since you said 2" and best ride, coilovers are probably out of the question. Look @ the Eibach Sportline and Koni Yellow strut combo. That should suit you well.

Do coilovers give a better ride than springs?

True coilovers will give better handling, but a harsher ride. Coilover sleeves just give a harsh ride :)

A 2 inch drop is pretty low. :o

I think I'm going to go with the Eibach Pro Kit, it give a 1. 75-2 inch drop in the front, and 1.5-1.75 in the back. Also I wouldnt need cambers. The kit runs for around 250. Do you guys think the drop would look nice, or not low enuf? 2002 coupe v6

You can get the pro-kits for less than that, just shop around (try www.groupbuycenter.com)

Also, I don't think they drop 2", the sportlines do. From their site, it says 1.5" front and rear.

k 94 accord, but do u think the drop the pro kit gives will look nice? I dont want to drop it to much cuz i commute and i just want to get rid of the ugly gap between the car and tire, the pro kit, i heard, does not ruin the stock ride that much.

True coilovers come with a strut/spring combo tuned together for the best performance.

Coilover sleeves don't come with a strut. Not such a great choice, but if you need height adjustability for cheaper, this would be the route to go. You really need aftermarket struts.

Springs are a set height method of lowering. Aftermarket struts recommended also.
