Winamp3 SUX!!! i dont know about you guys/galz but i think it blows.

I've only used it a little, but I don't really like the new interface. I don't think it sucks that bad though.

i wanted to get winamp for the laptop but i used it on the old desktop and i did not like it. gotta look for it in the old cd's

the fact that you cant find the playlist, the eq keeps reseting each time you close it.

Umm... if you don't like it, why not just use a different program? MusicMatch, etc.

oh, i never mess with the EQ or anything.. and i just keep all my mp3's loaded... maybe thats why i dont hate it :confused:

everyone needs to download Quintessential Player 3.0. its got the great skinnable interfaces of Winamp3.0 but without all the instability of the crappy player. It doesn't play videos but neither does winamp3 :rolleyes: (it does... but who would ever use something so archaic in design?) The sound quality difference is truly amazing. Winamp users don't know what they are missing since they are the blind following the larger company.

i like music match, but i haven't used it lately because of how slow the program is. but i'll use it on my laptop a lot.

Chris, you sold me on this new player. I'm going to install it on my other rig in a little bit. I've never personally used Music Match, but it came on my parents' computer.

j/k. its not that bad, but its incredibly limited and the sound quality is that of a trash compactor.

I probably won't notice too much sound q differences with my SB live! 5.1 and cheapo altec lansings, but I plan on getting an Audigy and possibly a set of Klipsch 4.1s or 5.1s in the future.

i like it cause i could burn cd's from the playslits, and use the equalizer to make the tracks, then i found veritas recording plug in for winamp and haven't opened it in a while

another note... all winamp plugins work with the program i showed above. so your recorder should work stefan.

and you don't need anything more than a set of crappy headphones to tell the quality difference between winamp and quintessential player. i sure can tell in less than a few seconds.

i recommend the 4.1's. the center channel is not worth the price difference at all. and honestly for the price, Logitech makes a badass 4.1 setup as well for $100 less. it sounds sweet as hell, of course the klipsch do sound a bit better, but for $100 more, i find the logitech setup just as good. i have the 2.1 logitech setup right now (it was only $40 and sounds so damn good) but when i have the money im going to upgrade to the 4.1 logitech system.

however if you do go with the klipsch, the center channel is not worth the extra money. keep it 4.1
