what defines a slut?
 

Well i'm just leaving for work and reading over some of these posts and i'm wondering what people think it takes to be a slut.

Is it a the number of guys a girl has slept with? The time it took her to sleep with them? Do they have to be out of a relationship to count towards her slut factor? Does this also apply to guys?

My ex had slept with some 10guys (1 being me :( ) in 5-6 years, i considered her a slut.

Your thoughts?

Well...I don't think the time/sex factor really makes someone a slut...maybe they just like sex...i thik people who leave relationships just to have sex with someone...or cheating on someone...i dunno i just can't really explain it...

That's a really good question. I think what makes a slut is a girl that just does not have respect for herself. My first time was when I was 17. Say I slept with 4 guys over the course of a year since that time. Lets say they were guys that I dated briefly for say a month or two. I'll be 21 in about a month and a half so we'll just round up and say I'm 21. 4 x4 would come out to 16. 16 guys, yeah that's a lot right? But I know that I'm not a slut. These are guys that I dated. Stuff a.k.a sex is going to start to happen after several weeks. It just happens as you get more comfortable and in tune with a person. This really isn't my case because all the guys that I start to see turn out to be tools. But it's just an example of why you shouldn't make a judgement on someone because of a number. Girls that do things sexually with a guy because he has a nice car or will buy her stuff if she puts out is obviously a slut. Girls that do it for attention are sluts. If I go to a party on Sat and hookup that's not big deal. But if I went to one Fri and had done the same thing, that would be slutty. I guess a lot of it is just how a girl presents herself and how much self respect she has.

I'm the same way about that too. I would never be able to be with someone that's been around a lot. When you're just banging to bang all the time because you feel like it, that doesn't really show that you feel that it's sacred thing. And it really is! I don't really care how corny that sounds either. I speak what I feel. :)

Yes it is a special thing, even to me.. and thats why im still a virgin (yes a 19 year old male virgin holy shit).. even thought i guess i have had chances, it just doesnt seem right.. and i haven't been in any serious relationships... oh well... itll happen when it happens, life doesn't revolve around sex..
