Hood release cable
 

On my 98 civic ex coupe, the plastic "handle" for the hood release cable was broken off when I bought the car. I can still use a pair of pliers and pull the cable, but I would like to fix it. Is there anyway to replace just the handle or does the whole cable have to be replaced. If the whole cable needs replaced, anyone know how much one is and how difficult it is to install? Thanks

i replaced the same item on my ex's cutlass supreme and my parents' taurus. it was about $40 b/c you can only get the lever w/ the cable.
