Passenger side Headlamp unit fogging up
 

Hey guys,

My passenger side headlamp unit is fogging up. Its the Carbon Fiber housing by APC, and only the passenger side does it. I've also noticed the factory housings on the passenger side fog up too... whats up with this. Any ideas how to fix it?

I've only heard of them fogging from a leak, or crack. I have to fix my wife altezza :o ... just have to take it apart and reseal it

someone told me that drilling a hole in the housing helps ventilate it so no condensation builds up. but i dunno about that.

Umm..that seems like it would only allow moisture inside the housing, only to evaporate and cause condensation. If you seal the housing really well, then the only condensation should be from the outside, which you just wipe off. I dont know

had this happen on quite a few cars.. 2 ways to fix it

1) replace the headlamp

2) take it apart - clean it clean - and seal it tight. this can be some work.. replacing costs more but saves time tremendously
