can you say "run-on sentence?"
|
you are paying that much for a new manifold just because yours is dirty? theres a thing called degreaser.....like $5 a bottle, seems like it makes much more sense.
|
No its not dirty , it has a crap load of white stuff on it ive tried to get rid of it but it won't come off and blowteggy sorry i forgot this was school.

$160 for a stock manifofld is  Sand that baby down and paint it
|
Simple Green and a dish scrubbing brush. The kind with the white bristles. Works wonders.
That $160 could go towards something else. And people think I'm anal because I clean my engine bay as much as my car........ |
that's alot to pay for a stock Intake Mani..I mean I have found port and polished intaked mani's for less then that..
You might just want to do a good cleaning on it or somehting as opposed to dumping that kinda $ out...degreaser,scrub bruch and a little elbow grease should do it wonders.. If nothign else clean it good and paint it...Hope this might help...   |
degreaser, a scotchbrite sponge with the green thingy on back and some lite grit sandpaper will clean that thing. then you can polish all nice and shiny afterwards. geez $160 for a stock mani..damn dealrships and their overpriced goods.
