B16 head on D16 bottom???
 

Ok I want to go DOHC, but don't have the money for a whole new engine. Will a B16A head fit my D16Y8 engine in my 97 ex? This will be the difference maker for me if I have to buy a new engine or not. I want to go forced induction. Possibly jackson supercharger because of the gains all the way across the RPM band. Well let me know if it can be done, so I can look for a new head ASAP!

Absolutely no way. D series block doesn't fit a B series head. That's why they are a different series. All D series engines are SOHC (except the D16A1 in the old integras). Sorry bud...guess you'll have to wait for a swap.
