K my friend had a crappy intake laying around so I tore the filter off and stuck it on the throttle body now I know its picking up hot air but it gets more airflow than the stock box...


I'm gonna order an AEM cold-air intake on my next check along with a few other goodies (hehe) But yea will the motor be alright with the filter on the throttle body...It came off once but only for like 10minutes I just retightened it and fixed it...I'm gonna check it all the time tho just to make sure till I get the AEM....

Theres no major problem with filter being there...

You should duck tape the filter or something.. Cause driving around without it is quiet bad.
