OBX good or not?
Is the OBX brand short shifter any good?
i dont see why not, i have an APC short shifter and it works just fine
It'll do the same job, the material may be different though
OBX is respectable.
I like mine.. Seem to be pretty decent, I havent had a problem yet.
from my experience OBX is a good quality product so you should go for it
OBX isn't bad at all but you don't need to stick to strictly import names to find good parts my short sifter is made by Hurst it was a little more expensive but Hurst is a very respected name

Thanks everyone, but I decided to go ahead and shell out 90$ for a DC sports short shifter. The reason i went with them is because i read reviews about the cheaper one's and found out they're are prone to breaking, sometimes while just normal driving. I should be installing it today along with some polyurethane bushings. But thanks for your responses! I'd just like to say...This is a great site and the people here a great too!

good choice, but dc's have been known to break also. The only ones that don't break are the ones that got some nice steel in em (solo, C's, B & M)

when ya'll talk about breaking where does it break at in the middle, at the bottom?
like right below the shift knob or a little lower, but not at the bottom
