Ok, I've read all the threads regarding coilovers, springs and struts, but im still not completely clarified
id like to drop my car as much as possible, with the easiest, and most cost effective manner, im only looking at spending maybe 400-500..

im still not sure what to do....

If you dont need height adjustability COs are useless for you.


Lowering springs with shocks.. And you'll need a camber kit.

Ok great, thats what i was under the assumption
i have no need to readjust, well not at this time

and because my camber wont change, i need the camber kit
i figure that as well, adjusted roughly at 0.75 i believe

how much do you want to lower??

what size rims/rubber do you have?

Is performance an issue?

and what kind of camber kit should i use

pivot, balljoint, offset?

well i dont need to lower too drastically
if i can get 2" that would be right on

right now there is factory rims for winter
putting 16" rims, not sure on rubbers

performance, well its always an issue
but for what im looking to spend
performance can only be so much of an issue
im willing to sacrafice performance for the looks

If you're looking at a 2" drop, I'd go for Eibach sportline springs and maybe KYB AGX (though they are only warrantied for a 1.5" drop). That should bring you to about $500-550 if I remember correctly.

You need pivot.

The springs suggested by 94_ACC, are excellent.
But the shocks may not totally suite the application.. Look into bilstein & Koni.

Yeah, I agree... I'm just wondering how he'll get a complete setup for 4-500.

If it were me, I'd wait and get Koni yellows (~530 for the struts only). Don't skimp on the suspension components.

If there's no rush, its better you take your time and do it properly..

Otherwise you'll be stuck for several years with a setup that aint too good.
