Why, why, why oh why?
Why does Canada make all their cars so much slower than in US
I just learned that in US the Si is 160hp. Here it's 127. (Like the EX for you, which is 110hp for us) There are other cars too! Why is it like this? And if I would like to import a car from US how much more would it cost me? Do cars tend to cost more in US than in Canada? And what would the boarder taxes cost me? |
I think that there isn't a difference besides model naming.
Our si = your sir Our ex= your si blah blah. I think that's right anyway. I know you guys have an Accord ex-r for our ex,etc. |
Hmmm but don't you have a 170hp Civic?
or is that the same as the Civic Type-R for us? |

Why do Americans make their cars slower than Japan? Why do Americans not want to have Japan's REALLY awesome cars over here?? Why do we not have the FTO, Silvia, GTR, Supra (since they still make in Japan). |

We cant have Jspec cars because of our strict emissions and safety regulations.. Its not a matter of what we want..But what we cant have. edit: Plus the aftermarket makers dont really profit from having to change/add all the extra parts to make the compliant with our rules which either ends use getting them [such as the supra] or causes us to never get them to start with. |

Just different model names.... Besides the SiR (U.S. Si equivelant) has some extra things that our Si doesn't...... |
