new instrument cluster
 

Hi

I want to replace my whole instrument cluster with say just a speedometer and tachometer..plus new indictator lights

Will this effect the use of my drivers side air bag???

Can the stock instrument cluster be taken out and replaced by after market separates.

My car is a 97 civic hatch

Also can someone send me details of what and were and how i can make my car have a tachometer (it doesn't come with one presently). There has to be a spot where the transducer is attached, what transducer is needed and what wires it can be hooked up to..i would like to use the stock wire loom so as to look like stock and to be very neat.

yes you could remove your gauge cluster and swap it out with say Autometer units, however its illegal.
why not just get an EX/HX/Si gauge cluster and swap it right in? voila instant tach. :yes:
