How the hell do I get rid of the part that is circled in the picture? The part that says "search the web" only. I have got rid of all the toolbars but it still pops up....fucking annoying

Edit: not 100% sure, i dont use ie. Looks like it might jsut be a regular toolbar.

It might just be google's toolbar. I hate toolbars...I avoid them like rape so I really don't know what the google bar looks like, but it looks similar to google's layout. If you installed (i.e. you yourself, not done automatically by spyware without your approval) it you should be able to remove it as listed above, through the Control Panel--->Add/Remove Programs. If it's not there just run something like Adaware to make sure it's not spyware bullshit. You should also be able to simply right click on the toolbar and it should give you a list of options as far as what to show. My toolbar has nothing besides the shortcut to Norton...I like my IE shit cleaned up.
