Im new here, Few questions about 2001 Civic DX
 

Hello all. Just a few quick questions about my daily driver.

2001 Civic DX 4 door sedan
1.7L SOHC
5 speed.

-The car cuts out a 116 MPH. This is bad...any cheap fixes for this?

-Any "Free Mod's" ?


I know this car isn't built for speed at all. Im not planning on "souping it up". Its just what I have for now and I wanted to know how to get an extra horse or 2 out of it just for fun.

I'd much rather have a MKIV Supra, preferably single turbo, but a BPU Supra would do the trick. A Skyline GTR-34 wouldn't hurt much either would it.

remove the intake resonator - free mod. doesnt do much but hey, sounds a bit louder.

why is it cutting out 116mph a bad thing? going faster than that isnt necessary.

tighten up the throttle cable a tad bit, better throttle response :yes:
