i knew i wouldnt get through the season

strongest hurricane on record probobly 72 hrs from me. should be alot weaker bny the time it hits florida.. weaker being 110-120mph instead of 160-180mph that its been the past 24 hrs. ive already got a little john boat ready to take out when it floods. i dont know if i want it to miss or not.

Racing Rice 10-19-2005 06:50 PM

ChrisCantSkate 10-19-2005 11:31 PM

AzCivic 10-20-2005 12:21 AM

everyone in Fl needs to move to AZ so the property values can continue to surge letting us catch up to Ca.

ebpda9 10-20-2005 02:20 AM

sucks for you guys. we will have snow this weekend

Rob 10-22-2005 05:07 PM

Damn Chris, the more I see the way the storms have been the better I feel I about not moving back to FL.....hope you make it thru in one piece.....

AzCivic 10-22-2005 07:11 PM

the record has just been set for # of storms in the atlantic in one season. After W for wilma they're just calling them greek letters, starting w/ the latest Alpha.

silver 10-22-2005 07:25 PM

well after the ownage that happened in cancun, the hurricane has weakened to a cat 2. it'll prob make landfall as a 2 or 3 depending upon how the wind blows it. if it curves more into the central gulf away from land it'll get really strong and then it'll be another major catastrophe.

but yeah...global warming?

slowEJ6 10-22-2005 08:26 PM

they're predicting it hitting land as a Cat1 or Cat2, but it could possibly be higher.

who knows.....
when does the hurricane season end? end of november?

silver 10-22-2005 09:24 PM

yeah, nov 30

ChrisCantSkate 10-23-2005 10:39 AM

its gonna be 50degrees outside once the hurricane passes... wtf. i godda finish grabbing my supplies then its just a few day party to get through it all. i doubt its gonna be any worse than a tropical storm by the time it gets to my area.

ChrisCantSkate 10-23-2005 06:44 PM

mylittlecivic 10-23-2005 08:03 PM

yeah thats funny because my will decide if it is appropriate to close or not (orlando culinary academy) the corner of sandlake and john young.

Sivik 10-25-2005 01:22 AM

freakin didn't get anything here in Gainesville, too far north. but now its cold as crap so that awesome.

AkimboStylee 10-25-2005 01:41 AM

power came on like at 4 p.m. (we lost it at 7:30) My house is now on an island, and my civic is halfway underwater(theres nothing in it anyway, and I will make sure to stop any cancer before it starts) had gusts of up to 72 miles per hour, and know is like in the 50s here. so all in all it was a screwed up day!

ChrisCantSkate 10-25-2005 10:15 AM

i got flooded in.. my whole parking lot was under 2 ft of water and my backyard was starting to fill. it wasnt too back, maybe 40-50mph winds in the morning with tropiucal rain, then the wind dropped around 2 or 3pm to 30mph and very little to no rain. but damnit it was COLD. even durring the hurricane, it was in the very low 60's dropping to the 50's at one point. we had a 12 ft john boat and a few jeeps to keep us occupied in our lake wilma

Racing Rice 10-27-2005 01:12 PM

Glad to hear you guys made it through it okay.
