Dash Swap?
 

Will a 98 integra dash swap into a 92 civic? And if I have to do some mods, what would I have to do?

I can't give you a step by step but it is a swap that's done...

It's VERY complicated... you have to rewire basically the ENTIRE dash wiring harness...

Look on H-T. Theres a couple threads on it there.

Also you have to modify/Ruin your door panels to get the doors to close if I remember correctly.

Would panels from an integra fit my doors?

I like my civic dash in my civic
but Im sure it would win show points, which is what he cares about

I like the teg dash... and the gsr cluster is much nicer too...

Teg dash has dual dins, a nicer hvac control panel, I like the clock, and the glove box mounts on metal hinges instead of plastic so they're more durable.

I punched my dash at one point so if I ever decide to spend any money on the asthetics of my car I will probobly do this swap.

Cant dc clusters be modded to eg's like ek?

Yeah I have 2 dins in that porsche console I used but the fitment isn't perfect and I just like the styling of the teg dash more.

As far as the cluster you can wire it in but the edges look sloppy... I couldn't deal with that till I could either make or someone else made an adapter so it molded into the dash properly.

Probobly not something I'll do till I have a lot of money to blow.

I like the teg dash too. But..why not just get a teg.

I hate tegs... I think they're ugly.

Hate the rearends, don't like the doors, don't like anything really about the styling of them...

I kinda dig the JDM ITR's but I'd rather do that as a conversion on a 92-95 civic as opposed to doing it on a usdm 94+ teg.

My next car will be another del sol...or a teg with a JDM front.

yeah if I win the lotto I'd do that but as of now even with calculating in the cost of getting new headlights fenders and a hood (which I need to do) it wouldn't cost me half of that price all tolled for stock stuff instead of the jdm itr stuff.

That and i don't have a garage so I kinda like the theft deterent factor of either bone stock or beat to hell stock like it is now.
