how do you ship a car

a very small one???

ChrisCantSkate 04-17-2005 08:56 AM

by train?

AzCivic 04-17-2005 11:56 AM

look up car shipping companies, they usually do it w/ an 18wheeler

GT40FIED 04-17-2005 05:10 PM

^ Exactly. Most just use those car two-level transport rigs like you see at dealerships all the time. At least that's the cheap way to get it done.

sicones 04-18-2005 01:38 PM

cool where would you go to ship it??

GT40FIED 04-18-2005 04:17 PM

Most of the time they'll pick it up wherever you want them to. My ex had her car shipped out here and they actually had drop off places where she lived (in Cali) but they delivered it to my house out here. When it got shipped back they picked it up from my house and dropped it off at the same shipping center. It was weird.

U haul, j/k. get a trailer or something

GT40FIED 04-19-2005 02:51 AM

Hell...you could pay someone to do it. An older friend of mine (by older, I mean retired) once offered me $500 to take his truck to South Carolina and haul back a '67 Fairlane Thunderbolt GT. Never have I tried so hard to get 4 days off of work.
