Type R cams
 

i have a set of cams and would like to know if they are realy type R cams. some one told me to check the outer dist side to see if it has a ring in it and the cam does have the ring, but i still dont know if they or type R cams. can any one geive me an idea on how to ID some type R cams, i dont want to get rip off. oh yeah on the side by the dist and vtec sol the cam has two ring wich my b16 dont have.

I'm not sure what you mean by "two rings" . . .what rings are you talking about?

The only idea I ever used was to compare them to GSR cams. The R cams are noticeable bigger than the GSR cams. Check that and tell me how it goes. :)

Lyna, i dont know about the dash yet. I'm trying not to spend money until my motor is running. Dyno time is gonna be expensive....
