HDD and external enclosures..

Does anyone know anything about the subject? I'm looking to get an external enclosure for my 200GB hard drive and not sure what would be compatible with it.. I only want a firewire one, as I've heard firewire > USB 2.0. and I'm almost positive my hard drive is Serial ATA, and I'm not sure if that would have any significance on the external enclosure I pick out.. Any help?

would this work for what I need?

I just get confused about the SATA part I guess..

altough it doesn't come right out and say it, that model is for IDE hard drives only. In doing a quick search, they do make some for SATA drives:

and heres is the search page. there are like 194 results, and im not about to go through them right now:

you'll want to get one that has at least one fan to keep this drive cool. heat kills drives, and those enclosures get super hot.

these external enclosures are great for people with extra low capacity (10-20gb) IDE hard drives laying around. I wish I had one!
