Removing Panel pieces on dash?

Just wondering how I would go about getting the trim pieces off of the dash on a 92 civic cx? I have taken out the dash because I am going to paint it but I can't seem to get off the trim pieces around the cd player and gauges. Also how do I get the gauge out so I can swap it with an si?
