its electrical
well, i finally found the source(or so it seems) of my problem. according to this:
http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/A...0Regulator.pdf the black/yellow wire and the white/green wire should both be putting out battery voltage with just the ignition in the on position. the black/yellow is, however the white/green is not. i tried chasing the wire but had almost no luck. i THINK i found it on the ecu, but the green is darker. i got the same voltage from the wire from the ecu harness, so chances are its the same wire. now, the question is what do i do from here? i couldnt find the wiring on one of the 2 main connectors, so im kinda lost as to how it gets into the car. |

yes... yes it is. ;( |
i dunno how much this helps, but the white green goes to the A16 pin of the ecu and the White red goes to D9 Pin. try to check the wires for continuity from the ecu to the alternator. Also after that if you see no continuity unplug those harneses on the shock tower and check for continuity from there to the ecu, and from there to the alternator. and yeah they would be like different shades of the same color from one harness to the other. i just leanred that yesterday on my accord.

i actually already tested both those wires, at the ecu, and at the alternator, and they were both dead. i actually found the problem, but it was something so stupid i dont even want to mention it. i'd rather just be happy the car is working |
