Bob Jones, the head of the family, stated "We'll probably just sell most of the stuff on ebay, but we wish these uniformed men would just stop crying. It's making my wife uncomfortable."

An oldie but a goodie. I still chuckle everytime i see it.

The French still suck, though i think everyone forgets that we wouldn't even be a country if it wasn't for their help.

No one is debating they how long they have been around. Im pretty sure no one really cares.

This was a pun to how they have never won anyone wars on their own, and how they backed down from the whole iraq thing...

AzCivic 12-15-2004 05:19 PM

point being..they must be doing something right.

drdingo21 12-15-2004 06:17 PM

That means nothing. Look at pompeii, or rome.

AzCivic 12-16-2004 05:23 AM

IALuder 12-16-2004 07:00 AM

i still find that funny tho.

An elderly gentleman of 83 arrived in Paris by plane.

At the French customs desk, the man took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry-on bag.

"You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked, sarcastically.

Whiting admitted he had been to France previously.

"Then you should know enough to have your passport ready."

The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it."

"Impossible. Americans always have to show your passports on arrival in France!"

The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained. "Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find any Frenchmen to show it to."

Anytime i try to point out the fact that we wouldn't be a country if it wasn't for the help of the French i just seem to get ignored. :o

AzCivic 12-16-2004 05:41 PM

oh yeah, haha, my bad.

my only problem is why single out one country because they didnt help out in a war that most Americans can't even agree on? also if we're gonna hate one, shouldn't we hate them all?

Mischief 12-16-2004 06:43 PM

we hate the germans too, but there aren't any catchy jokes out about them :(

IALuder 12-16-2004 07:27 PM

so...you hate the germans do you mischief......

Mischief 12-16-2004 08:05 PM
