'02 Accord LX- Factory Security System self install?
 

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and just bought my first brand new Accord LX. I still own a '87 Prelude 2.0Si which runs great. One to my question, hopefully there are some self installers here.. =]

I walked out the door and didnt buy the factory Honda security system. They wanted 700 bucks installed, when I know that I can buy it online for ~250 bucks. So, my question is for anyone who has done the installation. Just how hard was it? Also if you have any tips would be appreciated. I'm mechanically inclined and have the tools and even the factory Honda instructions already. If you think its worth having Honda do the install please advise.

i have no clue, but check the audio security form. we have some knowledgeable guys there.
