Shipping a car
I'm just curious because i am selling my car what is the best way to ship it??? Can you ship it ??? and has anyone done this before???
Thanks Jamie |
Yeah...it's pretty expensive, though. The easiest way is to do it through a company that specializes in shipping cars. Most have semis like you see taking cars to the dealership...on those double-tiered rigs. They just load it up, chain it down, and haul it off. That usually takes about a week to ten days if memory serves. There are more elaborate was of shipping...like in enclosed compartments and whatnot...but it's obviously more expensive. If I remember my ex's car got shipped for like $600 or something like that from Cali to Kansas.

Check google, awhile back I passed a chart that showed shipping calculations for the US excluding hawaii. My uncle got his is300 from L.A to Southern Oregon for $510.
