tearing apart a motor?
 
Ok yes this is retarted ? ... I've decided im keeping my car... i dont think i could part with it but i think im going to try and do the majority of the work and i would like to talk to someone about tearing it down... could anyone help me?

first step is to get a helms manual for that engine, and maybe one for the car. then get together all the special tools you'll need.

no doubt helms for sure
the tools that you need would also be listed in the book...so that would tell you what exactly as well

may i ask why your tearing it down? what are you installing/fixing?
