squealing/rubbing wheel noise?

Yea I just had mr7's put on and when I was leaving the place that mounted them I was hearing a strange squeaking rubbing noise from my front right wheel, it lasted about a couple miles and got louder at some points then it went away and its been gone for a couple hours now. Im probably going to bring it by them to makesure nothing is wrong but does anyone have an idea what it could be and/or if it may be a serious problem? thanks.

Oh and to clear up any quick questions I stopped to take a look at what was going on and could not see any damage to the tire/rim, or wheel well incase it was rubbing.

what size wheels and what size tires did you get?

Are your wheels aligned properly?

What did the noise sound like? Did it happen constantly or only at certain periods?

Hmm...it kinda sounded like a squeelling/rubbing sound, and it was very sporatic, like I would take my foot off the gas and put the clutch in and it would seem to go away, then next time I try it the noise stays, and it got louder and softer until it finally stopped. now ive driven it a decent amount and it hasnt come back yet, but im still going back tomorrow to have them check it out. and yes they were supposed to do a full alignment when they put the wheels on.

they wouldnt do an alignment unless you asked - theyre long and expensive
A wheel balance they would do for cheap maybe free

well the alignment was payed for in the whole package, but if its long like you say then I dunno if they did it, I watched and it looked like they just raised it, took the tires off, mounted the new tires on the new rims, balanced them, then mounted them back on my car. What exactly do they do when you get an alignment? Would they be able to have aligned them while it was raised and whatnot?

Nah, they need to put the car on an alignment rack.
They check and fix the angles on camber, caster, toe on all 4 wheels and usually takes about 1-2hrs. Most places charge about $65+ for it and will offer a lifetime alignment (since most people dont even need 2) for about twice that.
I ALWAYS recommend the lifetime since w/ our cars (if you autox, change height, etc) we can use that.
