Clearing out yellow headlights
anyone know if this is possible? I wanted to make my 2001 headlights clear white without paying 100+ for them. Is there anyway I can take out the orange part of the lights? The orange part is the signal winker, I just want to take it out so it will be clear white.

I already checked the how tos, just needed to know if there was a easier way, I only have a small oven enough to fit a bread loaf. Also my year is 2001 different as 2000

its no different..theyre all put together the same way
you can use a heat gun too...those are your only options other than leaky aftermarket |
what do you mean leaky aftermarket?
|
aftermarket stuff has a tendency to leak easier then stock parts
|
do you mean the light bulbs?
|
no the headlight
tey arent sealed well and WILL get water inside (How would a bulb leak?) |
Im wonderin the same thing
|
Hmm, thats odd, my friends been using projector headlights for about 2 years now on his 98 civic. He said its good, just that the light bulbs cost alot.

well that headlight fluid is quite corrossive, it will eat through the elbow grease seals. happens all the time... |
