lotus 7 1963 here i come

Oh man was the trip there and back interesting. When I have a moment to type it all out i will. For now I will say, you guys are getting ripped of on everything but gas. I couldnt believe how expensive things were nevermind the exchange rate.

Anywho, 1200miles in a little over 22 hours

street legal and it can also be taken to the track. Thins is an orignal lotus too.

its putting out 130hp and its just under 1000lbs, should be doing just under 5s 0-60mph

Just wondering, approx how much did you pay? Most of the original Super7's I have been finding have been in the mid-20's!

thats a shame. This car could probably take most cars on this board. Its a 50:50 weight, RWD, brakes ment for a car 3 times its size, powerful and did I mention light.

Its also a classic... Rob you werent in virgina were ya?

AS for the price guys, I'm not sure how much it was but i believe 20-25 is what was paid for it.

Ana, ya i like to check places out so i jumped on the chance for a road trip.

I bet it drives like a dream, but its kinda ugly IMO. Id rather have a newer Lotus.

It's not that I'm not impressed with the performance, it's just that I think it's an ugly looking car in my opinion....looks like a kit car or something that should be on the track.

well someone there who looks rather like you was racing around in an accord that looks almost exactly like yours. Had I had more energy I would have attempted to say high but the heat down there was too much.

But man is VA a shit hole...

As for the VA, that it is...for the most part...you probably went through the industrial part of VA...do you remember what city you were in?

We were in richmond va, but we drove through a fair bit of it. One part of it wasn't too bad but the place was so dirty.

Oh and you want to talk about ignorance.

The woman at the bank couldnt even tell us what states were below VA, she thought there might be one before florida. Her reasons were 'Well i dont go anywhere so it doesnt really matter'

Yup, Richmond is very dirty...that's the cigarette manufacturing capital of the states so go figure.......

As for the lady at the bank, that's pretty reassuring since she's handling people's finances.....I don't know how some people can breath and chew at the same time without getting confused......

well we got her going really good, man it was rather funny. But yes we were concerned about exchanging some cash with her.

Then some guy in a suit walks in, gets up to the teller trying to do something with his account and realized he was in the wrong bank. I mean common the town isn't that big!

Rob I dont know what the girls are like in GA but i understand alot better now why you get laid so easily. At just about every rest stop I went in to pay for gas or get something there was some girl behind the counter trying to pick me up. Some alright look and others just horrible. I politely turned them down at first and then on the drive back I was just a dick about it. One girl offered to help me find my way to the bathroom, and almost followed me inside.

These people just eat, sleep and fuck because there ain't nothing better for them all to do down there.

Actually is it pretty big....but that doesn't give that guy an excuse for being a complete idiot.......

I think that was as of 2001....it's a really congested city....alot of industrial business there.
