o2 sensors
I know that bosch sensors are crap (tried them in the past) and oem is so much money...
Has anyone tried denso sensors? Im pretty sure denso makes a lot of parts for honda, as is, so wouldnt they be comparable to oem units? The price is about 1/2 for one w/ a plug and 1/3 for universal (bare wire/no plug). Just curious |
I don't know if this helps, but I used to work at a Honda factory and most of the sensors on the vehicals were made by denso, so I think they would be fine.

How did you come to the conclusion that bosch sensors are crap??? Everything on my friends volkswagen is made by bosch as everything on hondas is made by denso.

Oh well, all 3 of the bocsh o2 sensor's that Ive had the displeasure of owning, over the years, have lasted a maximum of 4 months before taking a big fat shit. No, it was not installation error or anyhting like that....they just flat out suck balls. AND they cost more than denso, around the same as oem...for those w/ a plug anyways. As for the denso's, the cost for the ones w/ plugs are $108 and universal are $89 at www.thepartsbin.com and slightly more at my local autoshits |
yeah, Hondas should have Denso. I'm going to the boneyard this weekend and gonna pick up a few O2 sensors and other crap. It's amazing how my stock one is not fried yet even being boosted for over 4 years now... still the same O2 sensor. I normally have a couple in my garage anyway, but my friends are always grabbing it....

same thing happens in my garage...
