I just got a newer engine in my car. It's a 1.5 non vtec from an 88-90 civic LX. I was wondering if the d16 vtec head will bolt right up to the block. And if it will what will I need to get the vtec running?New ECU and Wiring harness?
I believe this is called the minime swap?

like the D15B block?

just go buy a Vtec D16. its not worth the money to do a minime swap.

yeah d15. No one would tell me if the d16 would drop in without aftermarket mounts. I even went to Hasport and they didn't have any.
