Ok so i'm getting a D16 vtec. Will it bolt right up to my 88 civic with stock engine mounts?

well what kind of d16...????

If the engine is from a newer car like 96-00, you'll most likely need engine mounts. Check out hasport.

i just put that smae motor in mine i think, d16y8, i am not sure about the motor mounts cause i didn't do mine, but once its done i will love it!!

what year EX did you get it from? 92-95 then that's the d16z6; 96-00 then that's the d16y8

contact hasport and they'll be happy to refer to one of their mounts... just a word of wisdom: boost that sh*t ;)

oops i put one from a 96 ex, sorry bout that, i wish i could boost it, the boosting that is cheap enough for me well nothing, cause im broke!!!!

amen to being broke! about to buy a b18a though, so i'll have a d16z6 for sale.
