The Eclipse from F & F....
 

In the beginning (after the CIVIC's) when "Brian" maxes out his eclipse.. he revvs the engine and it sounds soo beautiful. What is that?? I want my civic to sound like that.. its kind of like a cracking sound?? Thanks to those who can help me out!!!

HKS Super Dragger cat-back system & Hotshot Header.. I have a dragger style muffler it doesnt make that sound tho.. But that doesnt really mean anything..

My favorite sound from those cars is the sound when shifting, the blowoff valve from the turbo sounds sweet. That could be what ur thinking of.

Now that I will agree is a sweet sound...

One other thing... Please Notice that the Green Eclipse is a Non- Turbo GS... :rolleyes: ;)

Yes I know the blowing off sound when you shift.. altho I dont have my engine charged-up but when hes revving the engine it makes this whistling/cracking sound. Gives me the chills ehehehe

I got a question about the Eclipse then. If its a non-turbo, how in the h8ll when shifting did I here the turbo blowoff sound. That makes no sense.....help:confused:

the turbo sound was that of a turbo GSR i believe......neat huh? poser car :rolleyes:

oh and on another note.......in the looks department - liebermans supra aint got shiet on kenny trans supra.
and in the performance department - libermans supra aint got shiet on S.W. or the Walser supra :cool:
with that said......they took a perfectly good supra and ruined it ;(

You can find these ricer intakes that have some sort of filter or something that makes a blowoff valve sound.

But in the movie it's just dubbed in.

Well, at least the Supra really did have a turbo. That's all that matters.

special effects;) ......the blowoff valve and turbo whistle was pre-recorded then added on.....

yes the sound of blowoff valves are nice, but it also scares away the competition......it'll also blowoff when letting go of the throttle, the higher you rev, the louder the blowoff.....

yeah, but it was also a 12 sec. car........full interior though......;)

Man I heard a Supra a couple months ago, It looked stock but when he took off from the light, he wasnt getting on it, He had the loudest BOV Id ever heard.... This thing was a ways off, I couldnt even see it anymore, but I could still hear him finish off the Gears... Man it was the sweetest sound... :yes:

yeah that 12 second at first kinda tunred me off, but then, full interior, with a very large system, if they striped it, mid 11's i'd say. up the boost, cause u know they ran it safe, and i think it could be a 10 second car.

About the blow off valve sound........My cold air intake sounds like that when you shift. But it is the sucking sound that makes the "swish" noise. Plus my CAI sucks near the drivers side wheel so it is really close to the outside of the car. Sounds real cool!

So does anyone know what makes that sound? Theres no shifting or anything.. just revving the engine that makes that sound.

Im not exaclty sure what your talking about... Do you mean the sound from the exhaust or from the BOV, you can hear the BOV under Rev aswell..

I'm thinking more like its the BOV because I've heard it on cars with stock tips.
