Top 3 movies
hey kinda bored im sitting here watching 28days later i was wondering whats everyone't top 3 most recent movies you could watch more than once.
1.28days later 2.butterfly effect 3.Vanilla sky yeah it not that recent but its kicks ASS o yeah and check this out This is Crazy |
My dream come true...L.A. destroyed. Hehe. As for top 3 recent movies...I'm not really a big fan of recent movies...I prefer to go old school. But, if forced to choose...
1. 28 days later (always a sucker for a good zombie/horror flick) 2. S.W.A.T (meaningless action...always good as a 90 min diversion) 3. House Of The Dead (again...gotta love horror movies) |
I must say Lord of the Rings-3 and Underworld for the recent movies.
All time fav: Once upon a time in China (all), Legend of the Swordsman.... Jet Li is my dawg..... |
i dunno about recent ones but i thought big fish was pretty cool, and ah i cant think of anymore right now. today sucks ass
|
I'm not sure what we're considering recent....but my top 3 would be in no particular order
Van Wilder The Emperors New Groove The Italian Job |
hahah D my roomates kid and i used to watch the emporers new groove everyday multiple times lol i actually liked it =) but my all time favs
1). Boondock Saints 2). Spies like Us 3) Any american pie chris |

Boondock Saints owns us all in more ways than anyone can count. Spies Like Us was cool (though hardly recent)...but American Pie was just a huge string of dick and fart jokes. While thats not always bad (reference: Not Another Teen Movie), but not for 3 whole movies. |
1. LOTR 3
2. Underworld 3 Remember the Titans(love that movie) and 28 days later just plain sucks...not scary...ending was horrible, and that dumbass part where they're running around the shop with shopping carts with the happy music belongs on queer eye for a straight guy |
right....:irked:
|
^ Well...he's right about the ending...totally weak. But I don't think the point of zombie flicks anymore is to be scary...just as entertainment for fans of the genre. It was pretty close to being a rip-off of Night Of The Living Dead, too...but I'm not complaining. Just saw Underworld...thought it was decent, but the story was just too out of left field. Bring on the classic vampire flicks. You know...like Blade. Lol. j/k
|
lol, yeah underworld was kinda out there...but still alright.
and i just didn't think there was much zombie action goin on in the movie either...seemed mostly just talking amongst the "survivors"(i guess you would call them that). |
the italain job. good movie. would have been better if it were a porno. like the name makes it sounds.
i have no favorite movies. i do however watch Snatch all the time so i guess it is my favorite. old and a classic. |
I know its not new but i'll have to say all the Rocky's
|
1. Butterfly effect
2. LOTR-ROTK 3. Playmate of the Apes |
Ok...I *might* have another one to add. I just watched Signs (courtesy of Kazaalite and TMPGenc) and I must say for a sci-fi flick it was pretty damn good. The fact that interstellar beings can't open doors and are killed by water was a little lame, but it's other points were more original than most sci-fi movies...like the fact that you never see their faces. It leaves more to the imagination. I give it 2 thumbs up.

ITalian Job all the way and i dunno aabout u guys but i thought the Bad Boys series were good.
|
I've never seen the italian job...maybe i'll check it out
|

Ehhhh...that's right there with S.W.A.T. It was ok as a diversion for 90 minutes, but I tend to prefer a lot of gore with my meaningless violence. |
i thought the italian job was one of the better if not best action with a plot type movies(or whatever catagory that falls in) that has come out in a while
|
Pirates of the Caribbean was a good movie for being Disney. Also Torque was actually a pretty good movie. American History X is a classic. Bad Boys 2 was good, much better than the first one.
