turbo for 1.6 on a 1.5???????
 

hi all...

I was wondering what all mods would need to be done to like a Greddy Turbo that was made for a 1.6 EX to work on my 1.5 DX?

Does anyone know? Info would be greatly appreciated.

i'm not familiar with the 1.5l power plant. i know that it will work cuz i know somebody from a different site who installed it......i just cant remember his name.....he had a CRX....for the most part, i'm assuming that the kit will work if the exhaust manifold can fit. piping wise may also be a problem and same goes with fuel delivery of the blue box......e-mail me after the holidays and i will help you with the research.....peace. if anything, go custom route.

thermal just trying to get some ideas as I would love to do it if I found a good price on a turbo kit..

I'm already looking to upgrade the fuel system befoe the turbo goes in..

Im pretty sure that the main difference is that the bolt holes on the 1.6 manifold are off a little of the 1.5s, so you will probably have to modify it a bit to fit.

then again if I swap out the 1.5 head to the 1.6 vtec, as I found a couplegood deals on some for about 100....:yes: :eek:

os if that's a diff then I can sure that w/ only a minor expense...

any more info on this would be great....;)
