Those round red stuff on the left, What are those? (alignment caps caps? shaft shield?) Do I need those to install my coilovers? (Mines never came with it and no, I didnt bought those coilovers, just using the pix as reference)

those are the upper strut bushings. the coilovers won't fit in the original bushing at all.

Are the "upper strut bushing" the same as "billet aluminum spring alignment caps"? cuz if it is, thats what I am missing from my coilover kits. My friend who is helpin me install the coilovers says I dont need those spring alignment caps....? Suspension expert..help me out?!

welll i have to see the spring to say something. i know on my grond controls the spring is not as big as the upper strut mount and it needs that bushing to prevent the spring from moving around. if the spring is at the same diameter as the upper spring perch then you don't need it. it all depends on the setup

i bought those exact coilovers off ebay for 57 bucks shipped and all,,, and i did not use those caps they were just in the way.

hah is it hard to instal coilovers?
